Strengthening Crucial Development Skills
Music for ages 3-5 should be fun! Musical engagement for any child is important. Pre-reading lessons are a combination of exploring the piano, rhythm sticks, singing and large movement activities. Music lessons are also good for brain development, problem solving, and developing hand-eye coordination.
Another added benefit of lessons is they provide structure and routine to a child's week. I emphasize a fun, low pressure experience for children. As a mother of two, I know how important it is for children to have a safe person they can interact with and "practice" focusing, listening and learning with!

My First Lesson
At your first 30 minute lesson, Ms. Grace will begin by asking your student general questions that set them at ease such as if they have any pets or what their favorite thing to do is. For those ages 3-5, Little Learner lessons will start by deciding which book your student will use.
Those under four will usually be in Tales of a Musical Journey; while those over four will be in My First Piano Adventures. After setting your student at ease and picking their books, we'll spend the next 15 minutes learning the basics of piano.
The last 5 minutes will wrap up their experience with a sticker and an email to you, providing you with all the information you need to purchase their books.
In their second lesson, depending on their age, the material will be a combination of working through their piano books, rhythm sticks, and songs.
